The 2007 Foreshadow Cabernet Sauvignon (with 7% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot in the blend) reveals aromas of Asian spices, a hint of balsamic, mineral, and black currant. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has plenty of spice and savory notes, good balance, and a medium-long finish. It will offer prime drinking from 2012 to 2022.

J. Bookwalter is one of a number of wineries who have opened tasting rooms in the Seattle area, particularly Woodinville, to be near their customers, an especially important consideration in difficult economic times when direct sales can make a significant difference on the bottom line.
